Dune 3 (or any Synapse Audio plugin) or Spire sounds better. tons of synth patches do, but omnisphere has an over the top reverb. It is rather dull and relies heavily on reverb wayyyyyy too much. even for people who don't make their own patches. But, they're just a tool like outboard gear.Īs for Omnisphere? It is meh. They also really do lack that certain warmth. You can drop close to 10k on a single compressor or EQ EASY.Īll these plugins are incredibly cheap. For 1, not even for a matched pair! Some are 100k or more. Studio monitors are 20 - 30K for real, legit, FLAT and prestine studio monitors. 3000$ - 5000$ will get you a modern, professional synth that isn't full of cut corners. 500$?! No offense, but that is DIRT CHEAP for pro audio anything.
